Howdy partners! My name is Amanda Bourner and my classroom theme is "Bourner's Buckaroos"! I grew up on a farm in Illinois and got my first pony when I was just 3 years old. My girls love to visit their "PawPaw's" house to ride horses as much as they can too!

My husband Jeff and I live in Jackson with our daughters, Madelyn, who is in Fourth Grade and Kassidy who is starting Kindergarten. This is my 15th year teaching in the Jackson School District. I have taught both Kindergarten and 2nd grade. Most weekends are spent watching the girls play soccer, and traveling "home" to all of our relatives' houses for get-togethers in Illinois. I LOVE to read and travel - I just wish I had more time to do BOTH!!
