PROGRESS PROGRESS PROGRESS Jackson High School has expanded their transition services once again! With the development of the Entrepreneurship Program during the 2006-2007 school year, students gained first hand knowledge of what it takes to run a small, profit bearing business. This one hour elective class allowed the students to design, cost out, produce, market and analyze cost/profit ratios involved in the production of a marketable product. Students entered into business partnerships, held business meetings with community business owners, worked diligently to meet deadlines, and gained exceptional knowledge of the "fruits of their labor". The entrepreneurship classes first marketable product allowed them to clear a profit of $122.45. Way to go JHS Creations! Now - On to bigger and better things! Let's keep expanding!
